Dr Wollenschaeger takes time to talk through all his patents’ questions and concerts. He understands and protects body autonomy, and has an incredible bed side demeanor that instantly makes his patients feel at ease. Overall, everyone was friendly and welcoming. My only complaint with today’s appointment was with wait time and communication. After being seen by Dr. Eye, no one communicated to me that I could leave. Normally an RN comes in to pick up the Pap smear sample and finalizes the documentation with me in the room and then directs me towards the exit. I sat in that room for 30 minutes and no one came in. I finally lost patience because my time is equally as important. When I opened the door, I searched for an employee and asked her how much longer it would be. She told me I could have left already. I informed her that no one came in the room to tell me that and that my sample was still open on the counter. I then asked her how to exit appropriately. Frankly, if someone had walked in after Dr. Eye left, I would have been out 30 minutes earlier and that patient room would have been available earlier for the next appointment.
